Piemonte Visual Storython: A marathon to create stories from Piemonte Visual Contest infographics.
START: March 6th – #PA140 La rivoluzione (è) open
FINISH: May 8-12th – Salone Internazionale del Libro di Torino
It’s officially open from March 6th Piemonte Visual Storython, a ” narrative marathon ” that will use the infographics of Piemonte Visual Contest to create storytelling. Piemonte Visual Contest is a competition of Piedmont Region data visualization. The final goal of the Storython: make a creative tale of Piedmont history starting from the rich data sets of public administration.
The Storython brings together different competences: the creativity of designers, the knowledge of people working in public administration and the skills of storytellers. All together, they will create stories for citizens, to give them new information about their region and their administration.
The initiative is promoted by Consiglio Regionale del Piemonte with CSI Piemonte.
5 selected infographics
Among the 94 projects of data visualization presented at Piemonte Visual Contest we have chosen 5 projects for 5 topics of public interest.

Different professionals will work on each topic: those who have made infographics + designers, storytellers, data scientists, specialists from public administrations.
We’ll get closer to the finish line through various meetings.
We’ll involve public administration and students of Università di Torino and Istituto Europeo di Design (IED).
